Engagement Manager

Up to $115K plus bonus

Up to 60% travel.

Responsibilities:
-Responsible for leading consulting engagements for up to 5 of Company’s largest customers
-Building trusted advisor relationships with customers by solving their business and technology problems
-Lead client meetings with executive level personnel; create and deliver persuasive presentations
-Manage multiple projects as one cohesive client program
-Manage client expectations and communications flow as it relates to production and internal project teams; negotiate and resolve high level client issues
-Identify decision makers in and influencers within a complex client organizational structure
-Collaborate closely with the account team in identifying additional revenue opportunities
-Develop new business at these accounts
-Identify new consulting opportunities by understanding customer needs and developing custom consulting solutions to solve them
-Team with the sales organization to grow overall presence
-Assist in developing Statements of Work and pricing based on estimated level of effort
-Delivering consulting services on time, on budget, with focus on attaining high client satisfaction
-Prepare fully developed project plans, resource requirements, schedules, and project baselines from Statements of Work (SOWs).
-Direct delivery team leaders, develop and manage project/program schedules, scope and budgets (including project P&Ls)
-Provide accurate and timely project status, and ensure project team is accurately recording project time and forecasts into ChangePoint
-Comply with established service methodologies and Project Management methodology for engagement delivery
-Ensure customer feedback and high customer satisfaction score for all projects
-Owning a portfolio of engagements, driving overall strategy and execution
-Assume Financial Accountability for assigned project portfolio (Revenue Generation, Forecasting, and Profitability )
-Manage resource allocation and utilizations as well as his/her personal utilization
-Identify and mitigating project/program risks
-Address operational issues related to specific engagements, including expenses, staffing, utilization management, billings etc.
-Contributing to development and enhancement of availability practice area, industry, andor technology knowledge teams
-Evaluating and mentoring project team members on a regular basis
-Providing executive level sales support for strategic clients and prospects to increase demand for higher value, programmatic consulting services
-The Engagement Manager will be expected to support sales activities, including executive-level C-suite and large group presentations.

Qualifications:
-Position requires an individual with a unique blend of consulting delivery, business development/sales, and leadership skills.
-The role requires strong understanding of technology infrastructure, technology infrastructure recovery, and ideally would have business continuity experience as well.
-A successful individual in this role will have the ability to solve customer’s business and technical problems by learning and innovating to meet customer needs and develop solutions utilizing Company’s capabilities.
-Proven experience performing this role for other leading consulting organizations
-College Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or an Information Security related field preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience with a minimum educational requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.
-Demonstrated ability to earn “trusted advisor” role with customers and the ability to leverage this status into expanded business at the customer
-Grow business at existing accounts
-Project Management (PMP) certification highly preferred
-Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience in a similar role
-Strong project management skills with ability to coordinate multiple engagements simultaneously and prioritize demands
-Strong customer relationship management skills, focused on long-term relationships with repeat customer business, serving as a trusted advisor
-Knowledge of data center infrastructure (power, cooling, hardware etc.), storage, as well as IT optimization trends like Virtualization and Cloud computing a must
-Exceptional organizational capabilities and experience leading both people and projects in a Consulting environment
-Strong drive to initiate action and achieving results
-Demonstrated team development skills
-Strong analytical skills and project financial/accounting capabilities
-Experience working with sales professionals and providing sales support in a team environment
-Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear, focused and concise manner
-Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
-Excellent decision making and problem solving skills
-Experience in public speaking including presentations to senior executives and large groups
